and ahhh...the hot tub and romance!!! The perfect mid-winter
break. Great breakfast-we will tell our friends."

our
hosts, Mike and Kathryn O'Connor have spent the last 28 years in
Alaska. Both Mike and Kathryn come from large families and love to
entertain.
"It
just doesn't feel like home without family and friends around."
Mike jumped at the
offer to build restaurants across Alaska. Upon arrival he began
living his lifelong dream, hunting and fishing at his every whim.
His thirst for adventure led him to Prince of Wales Island, Barrow,
Cold Bay, Sitka and King Salmon. He fell in love with Alaska, this
land he had heard such wild tales about. He is always willing to
take a moment to retell those yarns or entrance you with his own
experiences in the Great Land.
Kathryn baked her way
to Alaska, literally, creating custom gingerbread houses and other
Christmas specialties. The oldest in a large family, she learned to
cook at a young age and has been catering to people's special food
needs at Alaskan lodges ever since. |
